Meet Mckenzie

My approach as a doula is to follow and support the complete transition into motherhood, beginning at conception and lasting until the end of the fourth trimester. I believe that instinct and evidence-based resources combined, make for the best experience possible. My independent practice is intimate, empathetic and supportive.

What I Love About My Work

The thing I love most about my job is that I can work with mothers. I can see their entire story unfold in a matter of months and then see the beautiful being that they bring into this world. Seeing the complete map of a woman's transformation is not only a privilege, but endlessly inspiring.

I'm Best Known For

I think most of my clients would say that I'm down to earth. I genuinely want to understand what you're feeling. My sense of humor is also a nice buffer when anxiety wants to run the show. I'm good at maintaining an equilibrium.

Three Words that Best Describe Me

Warm, cheerful, good-humored.

My Personal Motto

You can't help everyone but everyone can help someone.
